Details
Herbalife Activated Fibre, 90 tablets, is a fibre supplement in tablet form that you take with meals. Herbalife describes it as composed of fibres from various vegetable sources, including oat fibre and pea fibre, and as a way to supplement your dietary fibre.
Each tablet gives 0.60 g of dietary fibre, of which the label names 0.23 g as oat fibre and 0.03 g as pea fibre. Microcrystalline cellulose is the first ingredient, and the list also includes carnitine tartrate, dextrose, maltodextrin and corn starch. The allergen line reads contains soy, wheat and oats.
Herbalife India's recommended usage is one to two tablets with a meal, three times a day. That is three to six tablets, or 1.8 g to 3.6 g of fibre, a day, so the 90-tablet bottle lasts between 15 and 30 days.
The pack is labelled a Nutraceutical for adults, not for medicinal use, and pregnant or lactating women are asked to consult their physician first. Herbalife's own pages also call it Activated Fiber or Active Fiber, but it is not the same Product as Active Fiber Complex, the 200 g powder with 5 g of fibre per scoop.
