Details
Herbalife Afresh Energy Drink Mix in Kashmiri Kahwa, 40 g, is a powdered tea drink that you stir into hot or cold water. Herbalife India suggests having Afresh in place of your tea or coffee, to start the morning or as an afternoon drink.
Kashmiri Kahwa is the only Afresh flavour with saffron on its ingredient list. The base is maltodextrin, orange pekoe and green tea extracts, and caffeine powder sourced from coffee bean powder, with natural and nature-identical flavouring substances. Saffron is the only spice named. It is sweetened with sucralose, and the pack notes that it contains a non-caloric sweetener. The label gives 0.51 g of total sugars and 0.11 g of added sugars per serving.
Each serving is 1 g of powder in 160 ml of water. The label gives 40 mg of caffeine, 3.52 kcal and 1 mg of sodium per serving, and the pack is marked High Caffeine. The pack says to have no more than three servings, or 500 ml of prepared drink, a day, and does not recommend Afresh for children, pregnant or lactating women, or people sensitive to caffeine. It carries the green vegetarian mark and is labelled a Proprietary Food Product. Herbalife India's web addresses still call the range herbal tea concentrate.
This is also the only Afresh flavour in a 40 g pack, which holds 40 servings. The other six flavours come in 50 g packs of 50 servings, and none of them lists saffron or sucralose.
